From Denmark to Germany: Building Byoms’ next market chapter

Entering a competitive market
Byoms, a Danish company specialising in probiotic cleaning and textile care products, had established a strong position in Denmark and across the Nordics. Their next ambition was to expand into Germany, one of Europe’s most competitive and sustainability-driven markets for household and textile care.
To achieve this, Byoms needed to connect with potential B2B partners for their white label line. The challenge was identifying the right prospects, building credibility in a new market, and communicating their value proposition effectively to decision-makers in Germany.
Approach
Building a strategy for connection and growth
Gnarles Media partnered with Byoms to create a comprehensive market entry strategy that combined research, outreach, and brand positioning.
We developed a strategy to identify and engage B2B clients across key sectors, combining data-driven research with targeted prospecting to prioritise high-potential leads. We ran a LinkedIn outreach and thought leadership campaign aimed at decision-makers, designed to spark conversations within the target market.
To support these conversations, we developed a dedicated bilingual landing page (English and German) for Byoms’ white label offering, complete with an integrated Calendly booking tool to simplify meeting scheduling and partner engagement.
To showcase Byoms’ expertise and proven track record in sustainable product development, we created two bilingual case studies highlighting successful white label collaborations Byoms had already established.
We also worked closely with the team in a branding workshop to refine their market positioning and define their ideal customer profiles (ICPs) for the German market. To ensure a cohesive presence online, we developed personal branding strategies for the three founders, outlining how each could position themselves on LinkedIn, what topics to focus on, and how to communicate Byoms’ story in an authentic and strategic way.

By integrating research-driven outreach, bilingual marketing assets, and strong personal positioning, Byoms gained both visibility and credibility with potential partners. The project helped clarify their target audience, opened new conversations with potential partners, and gave the founding team the confidence and tools to communicate their mission consistently online.
The result: a strong foundation for building long-term partnerships in Germany and a clearer roadmap for Byoms’ international growth.
